How to get there?
From Cointrin Airport:
Taxi from the airport to Poterie (approx 30 CHF/20 Euros)
Train to Geneva "Cornavin" station (3 CHF/2 Euros) then bus no 9,29,10, 3 to Poterie (2 stops) Costs about 2,2 CHF (1,5 Euros) and takes about 15mn
Bus number 10 to Poterie. Costs 2,2 CHF takes about 15mn.

From Cornavin Railway station:
Bus no 10, 29, 9 or 3 for 2 stations direction Servette. Costs 2,2 CHF takes about 5mn (2 stops).

80 Euros per night (double-bed rooms).
Youth Hostels:
16 to 30 euros on average per person/per night (up to 8 persons per room). Double/individual rooms are difficult to find.
Events and attractions:

Ski buses are available trough the season (December-April) at the central bus station.
Destinations: Chamonix, Avoriaz, Flaine, Contamines etc.
Most buses leave at 8:00 am and return at 5:00 pm. The journey to the ski resorts takes between 1 hour to 90 mn depending on the resort.
It is recommended to book the previous day during holiday breaks and weekends in December and January months.
Transport & Ski passes cost 60 CHF (40 Euros).
Summer
Lac related activities and music festivals (Paleo, Montreux Jazz festival in July).
Tickets at sale at the "ticket corner" in Geneva or through the web site as from April.
